Hofgut Leo in Gresgen is the prototype of the first regenerative cooperative for village development. A seminar house and a school for village developers that gives a village with a challenging demographic situation new perspectives and at the same time implements eco-social innovations with the citizens as an open-air classroom.

Eisental sets out to found a village development cooperative. In the next few weeks we will resume the citizen participation process (which had to be stopped in 2020 due to COVID) via digital channels. The bustling and well-connected village is ideally suited as a future village on the way to more self-sufficiency and a higher quality of life. The press is enthusiastic and people want to design their home village – it will be a great process.
